MISSING TOOTH

In general, adults have 28 teeth, excluding wisdom teeth, which develop and erupt into a bite.

Some individuals may have teeth that are congenitally missing, which results with uneven spacing and may result in negative aesthetics.

Missing teeth can be corrected by closure of the space and remodelling the remaining teeth to the golden ratio, or redistribution and the insertion of dental prostheses such as dental implants.
